Hallamshire Business Park, Sheffield

A challenging project from start to finish but ending in some great results and a very happy client. A delayed start on site due to drawn out lease negotiations and a 6 week break mid project due to the COVID pandemic didn’t stop us delivering on time and to budget.

Despite the building receiving a CAT A refurb in 2018, this project required a full mechanical strip out of the existing mechanical plant and a new installation including plant and compounds in the car park large ceiling mounted AHU’s and a new independent VRV system. The install was made all the more challenging due to the pitched roof resulting in supporting metal infrastructure to span the 6m void.

A combination of colours and textures give a cafe style feel in the social zone and alternative working space to the more traditional office space, all of which is designed to incorporate an 7:10 flexible working ratio. We are looking at a further project within the building for a potential different occupant after they visited site and saw what we could achieve with the space.
